Donations are always appreciated!

Conasauga District Trail Volunteers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Our Mission:
The Conasauga District Trail Volunteers maintain over 300 miles of trails, restore backcountry campsites and host campgrounds in the Conasauga Ranger District of the ChattahoocheeNational Forest in Northwest Georgia. Much of this activity occurs in the Cohutta Wilderness. Partnering with the U.S. Forest Service and other organizations, we include hikers, equestrians, mountain bikers and others who “give back” for all the enjoyment they receive from their experiences in the great outdoors.

Are We Doing Any Good?
Please visit the Cohutta Wilderness and see for yourself the condition of our trails. We think you'll be quite impressed, especially when you bear in mind that this is a Federally designated Wilderness so only traditional hand tools and foot travel are allowed!

How is my donation used?
We have no paid staffers. Our Board of Directors is all volunteers as is our membership. We charge no membership dues. Your donation is used to purchase and maintain tools, purchase food and rewards to honor volunteers for exceptional service, and for special projects such as informational print pieces. Many in kind donations welcome too. And, most of all, we'd love to have you donate your time to our trails - so come join us!

We can accept donations via Credit Card or Check Card through secure transactions with PayPal.

Or you can send a check. Please make your check payable to:
